Andy, a big loner geek by circumstance rather than conviction is an accidental 40 year old virgin whom works in an electronics store with an usual bunch of misfits. He spends a lot of time with his boyhood collectibles, many still in their original packaging, watches Survivor with his elderly neighbors. While his friends try to set him up with almost any girl they can, Andy ends up meeting a girl on his own. This movie( much the same way the movie the Wedding Crashers does) eventually shifts focus from sex to romance, and without a wink-wink, nudge-nudge subtext message.
